Winter Blues

It’s no secret that there is time in year when you can feel yourself not so comfortable. First of all I mean cool season of course, when the sun is hidden, days become shorter, the nights get colderand the pale complexions of some of your friends can remind you: it’s ‘winter blues’:-) Well, it’s the time you had better take your vitamins, something like Omega-3 that helps you not only to keep your immune system up through all cold months but definitely be bursting with energy at any time of season. No doubt that taking vitamins is the way you can keep your health up having positive effects on both your physical and emotional state.

So all you can do to for your health during winter is to get lots vitamins especially vitamin D, known also as a “sunshine vitamin” and seen now as one of the most critical nutrients for overall health, get exercise on a regular basis and think positive thoughts of course that is also very important thing in our lives. In case that doesn’t work you may need to consult maryland psychologist or your family doctor. Eat right, get lots of sleep and take care of your mind and body–feed your body what it needs and take care of yourself inside and out. Dont forget about real phisical exercise in case you have never taken any exercise except sleeping and resting:-) Exercise: you don’t have time not to!

I Want to Ride My Bicycle

As a rule people follow three paths to good health: doctor, diet, and exercise. There are many ways to improve your health but one of the major one is taking a psychical exercise of course, such as a brisk walk (outside or inside on a treadmill), dancing, aerobics, swim or any other water exercises, ice-skating or roller-skating. playing tennis, football or just any kind of sport games you prefer and cycling of course that is the sort of activity I love the most.

“To keep the body in good health is a duty…otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.” Prince Guatma Siddharta, the founder of Buddhism stated it perfectly thousands of years ago and it is still true today. The fact is through exercise the body works at optimal health.

Actually bicycling has several advantages over other exercises:
Cycling exercises make the heart better than walking without the pounding of jogging.
One can ride a bicycle almost anywhere, at any time of the year, and at low cost.
Little or no time has to be lost, as bike travel can be used to get to work, perform errands, or enjoy the outdoors.
Commuting by bike reduces pollution that causes asthma and bronchitis. A commuting cyclist is also less exposed to air pollution than a commuting motorist.

100 Ways to Feel Better

Actually there are many ways to feel better and I guess that most of you could list right now a lot – from exercises and special diets and plastic surgery etc. There are 100+ ways to cut calories and sometimes some of these ways are not as easy as you could imagine it before you started on. But you know, I’m absolutely sure you exactly know that, that the general, main and no doubt the most effective way to get it rid is to eat less and to be acting more. That’s it.

As to me I just don’t know better way of acting than dancing. There is a bit of insanity in dancing that does everybody a great deal of good. This is sport, fitness, this is good breath, normal heart working and more and more. And you know what is the most important in a dance? It’s good mood and that nobody cares if you can’t dance well. Just get up and dance!:-) Besides that you can dance anywhere you wish, even if only in your heart.

Sport and Health

No doubt all of us, irrespective of age, sex, other differences do care about health and fitness. Actually the goal of any diets, exercise or sport training we do is not only to loose some weight but health improving of course. Regular physical exercises strengthen your heart and lungs, build muscle, increases metabolism. Besides that it stimulates the release human growth hormone and regulates aging process as well.

And that’s absolutely great for your health if you can make your exercise a habit doing it at the same time every day strongly. If you suppose that the only way to keep your health is to eat what you don’t want, drink what you don’t like, and do what you’d rather not you are not right!:-) I’m sure that only the things we do with a pleasure is good for health. One study found that people who do bodybuilding workout, strength training or just aerobic exercises became 25% more active in daily life than before they started to do so.

Today bodybuilding has become a wide popular sport and that’s no wonder, bodybuilder trains increase strength and build beautiful large muscles. So while some builders do so for posing competitions, still others using different training methods, learning from steroid books create their own cosmetic purposes. It’s wellknown that general function of steroids is promoting growth of muscles and bones. By the way, bodybuilding has not yet become an Olympic sport because of the using of anabolic steroids and growth hormones. But the real and true enjoyment comes from activity of the mind and exercise of the body; the two are united.

Something In The Air

It seams that Spaniard Breathe Cocaine scientists of the CSIC institute affirm. They have detected cocaine in concentrations of 29 to 850 picogrammes per cubic metre in the air of Madrid and Barcelona.

Winter 2009 Barcelona

“Even if we lived 1,000 years we would not consume the equivalent of a dose of cocaine through the air,” says one of the scientists, Miren Lopez de Alda.

“Heroin was also found in detectable levels in the samples taken in Madrid, but not in those from Barcelona,” says the CSIC.*

Dont know is it important or not but samples taken before Champions League final:-)

Bike Exercise

According to BBC Health News Frank Kinlan lost more than seven stone, having weighed 21 (133kg) but deciding one morning he had to do something.

“One morning I looked in the mirror and thought that I had got to do something, so I picked the phone up and got an assessment with my local health trust.”

Frank was morbidly obese, with a BMI (body mass index) of 42.

I would be out of breath going up the stairs because I was winded carrying the extra weight

“I was massive, with a 46-48 inch waist, and I found it difficult to get clothes to fit,” he said.

Assessors told Frank, aged 49 who is from the Wirral, that he needed to lose weight and exercise more. They signed him up for their initial 12-week course, which used British Heart Foundation guidelines.

But the idea of exercise was an anathema to Frank, who was so worried about the effect of his weight on his health and his extremely high blood pressure, that he was doing nothing.

“I had slowed my life down to an absolute nothing and did nothing. The diet was bad and I was probably on the verge of diabetes and some other problems,” he said

“I would be out of breath going up the stairs because I was winded carrying the extra weight.

“I turned up at the first class and they told me to do 30 minutes of exercise a day, five days a week.”

For 10 years Frank Kinlan’s bike remained unused and gathering dust in his attic.

He piled on the pounds and did no exercise, but refused help to lose weight.

Then one morning, weighing 21 stones (133kg) Frank decided he had to do something.
