Living in high-rise buildings

As to me I wouldn’t live in in high-rise building and that is not because such very common social anxiety disorder as acrophobia, I do not have it at all. Just love to live in traditional single-detached homes. The point is are there differences between living in a house and in a condo for person’s health?

But there are many people who evidently prefer to live in high-rise buildings. Actually accurate and sufficiently extensive empirical investigations have not yet been undertaken then anyone cant say exactly is it good or not so. What has to be claimed is mainly a good location and good workmanship as more important than the type of the dwelling. Second is the factor of affordability of condominium units which came in the wake of the most recent economic crisis. Also one cant miss such factor as “less noise” which evidently influences to health to some extent. Frankly saying this factor is partly so overrated that often it outweighs any other adverse environmental condition.

Searching for any materials about the subject I could,’t find something to aid on the way. So, I”m interested in your opinion.

By the way, fear of heights or Acrophobia, depending on the severity of the condition, will require help from a medical professional. While overcoming fear of heights may seem like a moot point when a person can just avoid high places, the limitations placed on the Acrophobia patient can affect every day life immensely. High places can be defined as multiple story buildings and planes. When the Acrophobia patient seeks help for overcoming fear of heights, it means they are at a point where normal function is being hampered by the condition.
